What is Cold Vaporisation^TM technology?

There are ranges of equipment of varying capabilities that are available to remove contaminants from water; however, Rainpure’s Cold Vaporisation™ technology is extremely effective in delivering ultra pure water - it adopts nature’s processes but in a protected and closed system which guarantees you ultra pure water – all the time.

How Cold Vaporisation™ technology works

1. Untreated source water (tap, sea, river, etc) enters the Vacuum chamber.
2. This water is then heated to 37 degrees by the waste heat produced from the refrigeration system (similar to the heat at the back of your refrigerator).
3. The untreated water starts to vaporise producing a pure water vapour which rises from the surface as a result of the Cold Vaporisation™ process (similar to water vapour rising from the ocean surface to form clouds).
4. The pure water vapour then travels though a number of baffle plates, used to prevent splashing of untreated water.
5. This vapour then condenses onto a cold coil (condensing coil) to form pure water droplets, similar to a cold glass of water forming water droplets on the outside of it.
6. The purified water is continuously monitored for guaranteed quality with an alarm sounding should the machine be tampered with.
7. As suggested previously the Cold Vaporisation™ process replicates nature, however, we have one distinct advantage with our environment being sterile (no pollution).
